The Japanese and South Korean stock markets opened higher collectively, with South Korea's KOSPI index rising over 2%

People’s Finance Network, April 7—Stocks in Japan and South Korea opened higher across the board. The Nikkei 225 rose 0.26%, to 53,554.73 points; the Korea KOSPI index rose 2.06%, to 5,562.62 points.
