The stock markets of Japan and South Korea collectively closed higher, with South Korea's KOSPI index rising by 0.82%.

People’s Finance News, April 7—Japan and South Korea’s stock markets all rose collectively to close higher. The Nikkei 225 index rose 0.03% to close at 53,429.56 points; the Korea KOSPI index rose 0.82% to close at 5,494.77 points.
