🔥Chairman of the U.S. SEC: Soon to Release Cryptocurrency Financing Regulation Rules


According to CoinDesk, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Paul Atkins stated on Monday that the agency is about to propose a crypto regulation plan to clarify its approach to regulating the crypto industry and to delineate which transactions might be considered securities. The proposal has been submitted to the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, just one step away from official release. The rulemaking is based on the Securities Act of 1933 and will address issues such as financing and startup exemptions. Atkins also mentioned that the SEC plans to soon introduce the long-anticipated innovation exemption.
