From the MAGA camp’s perspective, if Trump declares victory and pulls out from the Middle East, the U.S. would not waste more manpower and resources in that region, nor would it alone be responsible for the global supply chain crisis. From Israel’s perspective, Iran’s military strength has been significantly weakened, so stopping the action now is a wise move. From the perspective of Iranian expatriates and the Iranian people, ending the war can save lives and prevent the situation from further tilting toward religious fundamentalism. Once the U.S. announces victory and withdraws troops, the international community will put diplomatic pressure on Iran, forcing it to open the Strait of Hormuz and allow ships to pass.
