BEIJING, April 2 (Reporter Luo Shanshan): The reporter recently learned from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade that: In February, across the country, the trade promotion systems issued a total of 744,500 certificates of various kinds, including certificates of origin, ATA (Temporary Admission) carnet documents, and commercial certificates, up 72.38% year on year.

Of these, in the non-preferential certificates of origin certified by the trade promotion systems nationwide, the certified amount was USD 32.348 billion, up 54.23% year on year; the number of certifications was 410,700, up 71.34%. For preferential certificates of origin certified by the trade promotion systems nationwide, the certified amount was USD 9.589 billion, up 72.48% year on year; the number of certifications was 282,100, up 100.32%.

The certified amount for RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) certificates of origin by the trade promotion systems nationwide was USD 911 million, up 72.73% year on year; the number of certifications was 29,985, up 94.81%.

Wang Guannan, spokesperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the substantial growth in commercial certification data in February benefited both from the continued release of dividends from foreign trade policies and reflected the effectiveness of the market’s diversified layout, as well as the strong momentum of new business models and new forms of business.
