Guancha News: On April 1, New World Development officially unveiled its first large-scale integrated live-work-urban development project in Shenzhen, “New World 188.” The initial residential portion is named “Zhen Yue,” and it will be the first to be launched to the market this quarter. The first batch will be about 300 units, focusing on three-bedroom or larger homes.

According to the announcement, the total gross floor area of New World 188 is approximately 9.7 million sq ft. It includes more than 2.3 million sq ft of business office space, over 10 residential properties, and features a specialty shop street, a kindergarten, a comprehensive health services center, a cultural activities center, and a large underground car park.

The Phase 1 residential project “Zhen Yue” consists of four residential properties, providing over 1,140 units in total. It mainly offers large three- to five-bedroom units with areas ranging from approximately 820 sq ft to 1,940 sq ft. The community greening ratio is as high as 40%, and it will create themed gardens and about 28,000 sq ft of public space.
