The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has identified a company while discharging treated sewage water in the Al Mazrouah area. Necessary legal action has been taken against the violating company in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.

The ministry stressed that such violations constitute a serious breach, with potentially harmful consequences for both the environment and public health.

It further stressed the need for all entities to comply with environmental laws and regulations to ensure the protection and sustainability of natural resources. Besides, the ministry also called on the public to co-operate in safeguarding the environment by reporting any such violations. Reports can be made by calling the Environmental Operations Room hotline at 16066.
