Mysteel conducted a full-sample survey of China’s primary aluminum production companies. In February 2026, China’s primary aluminum production final value was 3.4736 million tons, up 3.44% year over year and down 9.49% month over month; the aluminum smelter operating rate was 97.1%, up 1.17% year over year and flat month over month; the capacity utilization rate was 98.04%, up 1.92% year over year and up 0.2% month over month; average daily output was 124,100 tons, up 41,000 tons year over year and up 3,000 tons month over month.
