Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Willing to work together with all parties to create opportunities for peace and open the door to negotiations

People’s Finance News April 1 reports that on April 1, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning presided over a regular press conference. A reporter asked about the current situation in the Middle East. Mao Ning said, “I think the current situation in the Middle East is a focus of concern for all parties. The situation remains tense, and the spillover of fighting does not serve the interests of any party. The immediate priority is to initiate peace talks. We believe that the mediation efforts made by Pakistan, including the Chinese side, as well as some other countries, are in line with the common interests of all parties. We are willing to work together with all parties, including Pakistan, to overcome difficulties, remove interference, put out the fighting as soon as possible, create opportunities for peace, and open a window for talks.” (CCTV News)
