Google on Thursday added multiple new features to its video editing app Google Vids, including controlling and customizing virtual avatars through text prompt commands, support for the Veo3.1 model, direct export of videos to YouTube, and content recording via a Chrome extension. Users can input natural language prompts to direct virtual avatars to perform interactive scenes, such as interacting with products, props, or devices.
