People's Financial News, April 2 — AVIC Optoelectronics (002179) recently stated at the earnings briefing that, based on the continuous surge in demand from data centers and AI computing markets, the company adjusted its liquid cooling division in early 2026. The new liquid cooling division is responsible for the entire value chain of civilian liquid cooling products, including R&D, procurement, manufacturing, and marketing, further strengthening its first-mover advantage in liquid cooling and heat dissipation products. The original defense liquid cooling business was spun off to establish the Environmental Control Products Department.

People’s Finance Information, April 2—In a recent performance briefing, AVIC Optoelectronics (002179) said that, based on the continued surge in demand from data center and AI compute power markets, at the beginning of 2026 the company will reorganize its liquid-cooling business unit. The new liquid-cooling business unit will handle the R&D, procurement, production, marketing, and other end-to-end value-chain aspects of the company’s civilian liquid-cooling business, further strengthening its early-mover advantages in liquid-cooling and heat-dissipation products. The former defense liquid-cooling business was separated and used to establish an Environmental Control Products Division.
