People’s Finance News, April 2: On April 2, at the 2026 SEDI Forum, Su Bo, deputy director of the National Strategy Advisory Committee for Building a Strong Manufacturing Country and chairman of the National Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee, said that over the next 10 years, China will continue to keep its focus on intelligent manufacturing unchanged, and will make every effort to build an “upgraded version” of intelligent manufacturing that combines the virtual and the real, evolves independently, and is safe and efficient. The goal is to achieve, by 2030, that most manufacturing enterprises above the designated size will be basically equipped with digitization and networking, and that staged progress will be made in major innovations and breakthroughs for next-generation intelligent manufacturing.
