People’s Finance Network, April 2—On April 2, ZhiJie Auto officially announced the appointment of Guo Rui as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, with full responsibility for the company’s operations and management. Guo Rui graduated from the School of Information Science and Technology at Peking University, earning a Ph.D. in Science. From 2017 to 2021, he served as Huawei’s Chief Marketing Officer for the Greater China Region of its Consumer Business (Terminals). In August 2021, as a founding team member, he joined the newly independent Honor, where he took full charge of building the Honor brand marketing system. On December 12, 2025, Honor officially announced that he stepped down as President of Honor’s brand marketing, a member of the management team (EMT), and a member of the Investment Decision Board (IRB), and said that he would head to “the next stop—Honor in technology.” Analysts noted that this personnel change signals that ZhiJie Auto’s brand 2.0 strategy is expected to enter a new stage of full implementation.
