From the MAGA camp’s perspective, if Trump declares victory and pulls out of the Middle East, the U.S. would not waste more manpower and resources in that region, nor would it be solely responsible for the global supply-chain crisis. From Israel’s perspective, Iran’s military strength has been significantly weakened, so stopping operations now is the wise move. From the perspective of Iran’s diaspora and people, ending the war can save lives and prevent the situation from further tilting toward religious extremism. Once the U.S. announces victory and withdraws troops, the international community will apply diplomatic pressure on Iran, forcing it to open the Strait of Hormuz and allow ships to pass.
