Abstract generation in progress

Emerson has been selected to automate Strategic Biofuels’ $2-billion Louisiana Green Fuels facility, a wood-fired power plant with integrated carbon capture and sequestration. This project will convert 1.3 million tons of forestry residuals annually into 100 MW of carbon-neutral electricity while storing 1.1 million metric tons of CO₂. Emerson will deploy its DeltaV Automation Platform and other advanced technologies to optimize plant operations and ensure efficient, continuous performance.
