Dog food can really be a dilemma, right? Recently, I looked into various dog food rankings, and from well-known brands like Royal Canin and Nutro to domestic manufacturers, there are so many options that choosing can be overwhelming.

After comparing and analyzing 108 products, the ones that ranked highest in reliability and nutritional balance were definitely the major brand’s specialized foods. What I paid particular attention to was whether they meet the standards for complete and balanced nutrition and the transparency of ingredients. Specifically, whether they contain additives like BHA and BHT, and if the ingredient list is clear and detailed.

The top spot in the dog food ranking goes to Royal Canin’s “Mini Indoor Puppy.” Designed for small indoor puppies, it’s low in fat and calories. It’s ISO certified, and free from artificial coloring and fragrances. Not only does it specify target age and feeding amounts, but it also clearly states the content of additional ingredients, which provides peace of mind.

The second place is also from Royal Canin, the “Shiba Inu Adult Food.” Designed with the health of Shiba Inu’s skin and coat in mind, it’s also a complete and balanced diet. Since it complies with domestic and international standards, many people trust it despite the higher price.

Beyond that, products from domestic brands like Petline and Canadian brands like ACANA are also included. Especially, ACANA’s “Light & Fit Recipe” is aimed at overweight dogs, high in protein and low in fat. The ingredient ratios are clearly listed, making transparency very high.

Looking at this dog food ranking, I realized that choosing products that are not only affordable but also have clear ingredient lists and international certifications is better for your dog’s long-term health. Since it’s something they eat every day, it’s most important to carefully check the ingredient labels and choose products you trust.
