Multiple attractions offer free admission to middle and high school students during spring break. Several sites kick off the spring break competition for middle and high school students.

A reporter’s count found that more than 130 scenic spots in Sichuan have, one after another, rolled out優惠 measures such as free admission for middle and primary school students during the spring holiday. These include a number of 5A scenic areas such as Mount Qingcheng–Dujiangyan, Guangwushan, Bifengxia, Hailuogou, and Jiange Pass. In Jiangsu, places such as Nanjing and Suzhou have launched free-ride activities for middle and primary school students aged 7 to 16: with a student ID, household registration book, or ID card, students can ride public transportation for free, including buses, subways, ferries, and trams. In Zhejiang, scenic spots such as Qiandao Lake, Taizhou Shennianju, Wenzhou Yandang Mountain, and Jiaxing Yanguan Ancient Town have also, one after another, introduced policies for students to be exempt from admission fees during the spring holiday. Reports from multiple online travel platforms also show that, thanks to the way the spring holiday connects to the upcoming Qingming Festival mini-holiday, the Qingming holiday is expected to become a hot “Qingming Golden Week.” Among them, data from tourism and travel platforms indicate that from April 1 to April 6, bookings for domestic flight tickets exceeded 2.25 million, up by about 25% year over year. Of those, the search volume for parent-child trips increased by more than 1.2 times; among users who bought scenic area tickets from April 1 to April 6, the number of visitors aged 13 to 18 grew by 3.3 times.
