Recently, I was reviewing how the planetary transits of that week impacted each ascendant, and honestly, there’s a lot to analyze when so many planets are concentrated in Aquarius.

For those of us with a Capricorn rising, the situation was particularly interesting. Saturn, our ruler, was in its final stages through Pisces, closing a thirty-year cycle in the Zodiac. This isn’t something that happens every day, believe me. The psychic impact of that cycle’s end is hard to describe in words, but if you have a Capricorn rising, you probably felt something similar to exhaustion during those days. That kind of tiredness that comes from long processes finally coming to a close.

What’s interesting is that while this was happening with our ruler, the sky was full of Aquarius energy with the Sun, Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Pluto all in that sign. That concentration of airy, detached energy contrasted quite a bit with what we experienced as Capricorn risings.

For Aries, that weekend was all about pure mental acceleration. Mars, their ruler, was transiting through Aquarius, and their mind wouldn’t stop. Taurus, on the other hand, had an interesting opportunity with Venus conjunct Mercury, perfect for important conversations without too much drama.

Gemini felt how that same Venus-Mercury conjunction activated their vocational zone. Cancer was still under the weight of the previous full Moon, so that weekend was more sensitive than usual. Leo had to deal with a lot of energy in their relationship area, which can sometimes be counterproductive.

Virgo took advantage of that energy of change in their routine and health zone. Libra, with Venus as their ruler, experienced a pretty strong idealization of their romantic interests. Scorpio had to navigate intense family issues with Pluto activating that area.

Sagittarius, although their ruler Jupiter was calm in Cancer, felt all the activity in their communication zone. And for those of us with a Capricorn rising, the advice was clear: listen to that fatigue, recognize it, allow it. Sometimes the body and mind know exactly what we need.

Aquarius experienced their season intensely with five planets in their sign, a powerful energy to recognize the strength of their networks and contacts. Pisces, finally, had to review their relationship with endings and closures, something that resonated especially considering what was happening with Saturn.

That week was a reminder that transits affect us in very different ways depending on where we are in our natal chart. If you’re a Capricorn rising like me, you probably remember those days as a significant transition moment, perhaps one of those breaking points that mark a before and after.
