According to Mysteel, as of the week ending March 26, rebar production shifted from increase to decrease. Factory and social inventories have declined for two consecutive weeks, while apparent demand has increased for five consecutive weeks. Rebar production was 1.9787 million tons, down 54,600 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 2.69%; factory inventories were 2.1916 million tons, down 170,400 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 7.21%; social inventories were 6.4275 million tons, down 104,600 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 1.60%; apparent demand was 2.2537 million tons, up 172,800 tons from the previous week, an increase of 8.30%.
