The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has officially initiated a Section 337 investigation into tunneling oxide layer passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cells, modules, panels, their components, and downstream products.

According to the China Trade Relief Information Network, on March 26, 2026, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to initiate a 337 investigation (investigation code: 337-TA-1494) into certain tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cells, modules, panels, and their components and downstream products.
