The Zhitong Finance APP learned that on Friday, U.S. stocks in the optical communication and storage sectors rose against the trend, with Lumentum (LITE.US) and Ciena (CIEN.US) rising over 4%, Coherent (COHR.US) and Corning (GLW.US) rising 1%; SanDisk (SNDK.US) rose over 3.5%, Western Digital (WDC.US) and Micron Technology (MU.US) rose over 1%. The overall U.S. stock market fell, with the Nasdaq down over 1.2%, the S&P 500 index down 0.83%, and the Dow Jones down 0.9%.
