CPO across all sectors experiencing a boom, Changfei Fiberoptic surges straight to the limit in the late trading session

On March 24, the CPO concept rebounded in the late trading session, with Changfei Fiber Optics (601869.SH) making a sharp rise, and stocks like Cambridge Technology (603083.SH), Xinyi Semiconductor (300502.SZ), and Zhongji Xuchuang (300308.SZ) also following suit.

On the news front, at the 2026 Fiber Optic Communication Conference and Exhibition held last week, various optical communication manufacturers emphasized their expansion plans for core components and materials of optical modules. Lumentum stated that by the end of 2026, the production capacity of EML will increase by more than 50% compared to 2025.

With the proliferation of AI applications and the explosive popularity of OpenClaw, the computing power service market has entered a price increase cycle, prompting cloud service providers such as Alibaba Cloud and Baidu Intelligent Cloud to announce price hikes for AI computing power and related services. This year, major overseas cloud service providers like Amazon and Google have also raised prices for core products.

Domestic computing hardware has also made breakthroughs. A research report from Shanxi Securities shows that domestic chip manufacturers represented by Huawei Ascend, Cambricon, Haiguang Information, and Kunlun Core are accelerating their catch-up with NVIDIA in terms of single-card performance, with Huawei’s flagship now comparable to the H100, and competing with NVIDIA’s rack-level solutions through innovations in supernode architecture.

Hua Chuang Securities indicated that computing power service companies are the first to benefit from the significant release of AI inference demand, with the prosperity and development expectations for AI data centers, optical module optical devices, and optical chips showing clear improvement.

China Galaxy Securities’ research report pointed out that the explosive growth of OpenClaw is driving the AI industry’s value to shift towards “task completion capability,” with its high consumption characteristics leading to a surge in Token usage. In the first week of March, the platform processed 14.8 trillion Tokens, with over half of the Agent workflow output. This brings structural changes to computing power infrastructure, providing short-term benefits for AIDC data centers and computing power leasing, while mid-term driving upgrades in optical modules, liquid cooling, and other areas. The market has already shown signs of price increases and supply-demand imbalances, with the entire telecommunications sector experiencing a wave of prosperity.
