SMM expects that in the first half of April 2026, Indonesia’s domestic HPM ore will slightly decline, with a predicted month-on-month decrease of 1.37%. In the first half of April, HMA is expected to be $17,093 per dry ton, a decrease of $236.56 per dry ton. SMM anticipates that the benchmark price for Indonesia’s HPM domestic ore (MC35%) in the first half of April will be: For Ni1.2% grade nickel ore, the HPM price will be $17.33 per wet ton, down $0.24 per wet ton compared to the second half of March HPM; For Ni1.6% grade nickel ore, the HPM price will be $30.22 per wet ton, down $0.42 per wet ton compared to the second half of March HPM; For Ni1.7% grade nickel ore, the HPM price will be $34.00 per wet ton, down $0.47 per wet ton compared to the second half of March HPM; For Ni1.8% grade nickel ore, the HPM price will be $38.00 per wet ton, down $0.53 per wet ton compared to the second half of March HPM; For Ni2.0% grade nickel ore, the HPM price will be $46.66 per wet ton, down $0.65 per wet ton compared to the second half of March HPM.
