As of February 26, the inventory at major import cotton ports increased by 0.75% week-on-week.
According to a Mysteel survey, as of February 26, the inventory of imported cotton at major ports increased by 0.75% week-on-week, with a total inventory of 538,100 tons. Among them, the inventory in Shandong province’s Qingdao and Jinan ports and surrounding warehouses is 471,000 tons, an increase of 0.86% year-on-year. In Jiangsu province, the inventory of imported cotton at Zhangjiagang port and surrounding warehouses is about 37,300 tons, while other ports have an inventory of about 29,800 tons. This week, the foreign cotton market has not fully recovered; the pace of inventory arrival has slowed, but downstream purchases have increased after the festival, and shipments are decent.
