CoStar has filed an amended complaint in its copyright infringement lawsuit against Zillow, alleging that Zillow is still using over 53,000 copyrighted images belonging to CoStar. CoStar claims Zillow has the ability to remove these images but is choosing not to, continuing to republish them on its platforms and through syndication deals. Zillow, in turn, suggests the lawsuit is an attempt by CoStar to misuse copyright law to disadvantage Zillow and maintain its market control.
