When your first-class ‘flight’ turns out to be a bus ride

Passengers booking flights, sometimes even first-class, are increasingly finding themselves on buses instead, a practice utilized by airlines to connect smaller airports to larger hubs. American Airlines, for example, has been using The Landline Company for such bus “flights” since 2022. This shift can lead to unexpected travel experiences for passengers who complete all typical airport procedures only to board a bus.
