Nio Surges Nearly 20% After Achieving First Quarterly Profit

NIO-SW (9866.HK) opened nearly 20% higher, trading at HKD 45.6. According to recent news, NIO announced its earnings last night, showing an operating profit of 1.25 billion yuan in Q4 2025, marking the company’s first quarterly profit; total revenue was approximately 34.65 billion yuan, up 75.9% year-over-year; cash reserves reached 45.9 billion yuan, a significant increase of nearly 10 billion yuan compared to the previous quarter.

Looking ahead to the first quarter of 2026, William Li provided delivery guidance of 80,000 to 83,000 vehicles during the earnings call, representing a year-over-year increase of 90.1% to 97.2%; revenue guidance is between 24.48 billion and 25.18 billion yuan, up 103.4% to 109.2% year-over-year. After achieving quarterly profitability, William Li aims for “full-year profitability” in 2026.
