Nanning East New District Natural Gas Supply Core Main Line Put into Operation

News from our newspaper: (Guangxi Cloud - Guangxi Daily Reporter Wu Meiqiao Hong) On March 16, the high-pressure gas pipeline project connecting Nanning Gas Transmission Station in the eastern new city of Nanning to Lingli LNG Storage and Distribution Station achieved interconnection with Nanning’s gas pipeline network and officially began operation.

This project is a key energy project in Nanning and the core trunk line for natural gas supply in the eastern new city. Construction started in March 2024, with a total investment of 45 million yuan. The pipeline spans 23.3 kilometers and has a designed transmission capacity of 120,000 Nm3/h (equivalent to an annual gas transmission capacity of about 1 billion cubic meters). After commissioning, it will break through the bottleneck of natural gas transmission infrastructure in the eastern new city.

In recent years, the emerging industry cluster in Nanning’s eastern new city has accelerated its gathering, with projects such as Fudi Battery, BYD Lithium Carbonate, and Multi-Flo being established. “In the past, enterprises mainly used transferred gas for production. As their capacity continues to grow, they have higher demands for stable and reliable gas supply,” said Wu Guangguo, head of Nanning Zhongran Company.

Nanning Zhongran Company has continuously increased investment in natural gas infrastructure and accelerated construction progress, turning the gas pipelines in the eastern new city into an “energy runway” for industrial leapfrogging. To ensure the efficient advancement of the project, the construction team actively coordinated with relevant departments to seek policy support, united efforts to solve various problems, and successfully achieved completion and operation.
