Iran Denies Reports of US-Iran Negotiations Again; Iran's Key Energy Strategic Locations Frequently Attacked
The ongoing conflict: Iran has launched the 80th round of “Real Commitment-4” military operations
CCTV Reporter Li Jiannan: It is now 2:30 PM local time on the 25th, and I am in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Since early this morning, explosions have been reported in Tehran, western Tabriz, central Isfahan, and southern Shiraz.
According to the latest information, the Iranian military has announced that its forces have launched cruise missiles targeting the U.S. aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln.” Iranian Navy Commander Ilani stated that Iran has strong control and dominance over the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf. As long as U.S. carrier groups enter missile range, Iran’s navy will strike.
As of now, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has carried out the 80th round of “Real Commitment-4” military operations, launching missile strikes against Israel’s strategic and military centers as well as regional U.S. military bases.
Are the U.S. and Iran holding negotiations? Iran firmly denies
CCTV Reporter Li Jiannan: Additionally, regarding the highly关注ed question of whether the U.S. and Iran are negotiating, the Iranian Armed Forces’ Hatam Abiyah Central Command again denied this on the 25th.
A spokesperson for the command stated that the U.S. should not call failure negotiations, and that international oil prices and regional order will not return to previous states. This situation will continue until the U.S. completely clears its misguided thinking about taking action against Iran.
Furthermore, on the same day, Iran’s Speaker of Parliament, Kalibaf, issued a statement saying that Iran is closely monitoring all U.S. movements in the region, especially troop deployments. He emphasized that the U.S. and Israel should not test Iran’s resolve to defend the country. Analysts point out that Kalibaf’s statement is partly a response to the U.S. deployment of ground forces to the Middle East and partly a denial of the so-called “Iran is negotiating with the U.S.” reports.
“Ships of non-combatant nations can safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz”
CCTV Reporter Li Jiannan: Let’s now focus on the situation in southern Iran. On the 25th, Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations issued a statement saying that ships of non-combatant nations can safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement said that as long as the ship’s country does not participate in or support hostile actions against Iran, and fully complies with security and safety regulations, it can enjoy safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with relevant Iranian authorities.
Frequent U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran’s southern and southwestern energy strategic locations
CCTV Reporter Li Jiannan: Currently, the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict has lasted 26 days. Based on my observations in Iran, recent strikes on the southern and southwestern provinces have become more frequent. Analysts point out that Khuzestan Province is a major energy production base, and nearby Bushehr Province, especially Khark Island in Bushehr, is a strategic energy export hub for Iran. The U.S. and Israel aim to weaken Iran’s economy with these actions, and it may also be paving the way for potential ground operations. However, analysts also emphasize that as the conflict enters a “prolonged war” phase, Iran’s recent series of actions and deployments—including preemptive strikes against anti-Iranian groups in Iraq and the highest state of readiness of troops in Khuzestan—show that Iran is prepared for various scenarios.
