Franklin Templeton Launches Tokenized ETF with 7×24-Hour Crypto Wallet Trading
According to Bloomberg, Franklin Templeton announced a partnership with Ondo Finance to launch tokenized ETFs that can be traded directly in crypto wallets, enabling round-the-clock (7×24-hour) trading while breaking through the limitations of traditional brokerage accounts and trading hours.
The product covers asset classes including U.S. equities, fixed income, and gold, with initial launches planned for Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Latin America. The rollout in the U.S. market remains contingent on further regulatory clarity regarding on-chain distribution of registered funds.
