According to a report by “Today India” on the 25th, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagheri said in an exclusive interview that Iran has not engaged in negotiations with the United States and will continue to exercise its right to self-defense. Bagheri stated that Iran fully understands the concerns of relevant countries regarding the situation and their desire to de-escalate, but the US and Israel are still conducting ongoing attacks against Iran. Under these circumstances, all statements from the US and Israel about negotiations and diplomatic talks are untrustworthy. Bagheri said that Iran has received requests from multiple countries to mediate negotiations and has responded accordingly, but its stance on exercising the right to self-defense remains unchanged. The more critical issue is to break the vicious cycle of “war, negotiation, ceasefire, and re-war” and ensure that the US and Israel pay the price for their actions. Bagheri also stated that the US is using the airspace, military bases, and logistics facilities of Gulf Cooperation Council countries to strike Iran, dragging these countries into war. He called on relevant countries to refuse to allow the US and Israel to use their territories to attack Iran and emphasized that Iran has no intention of provoking conflicts with neighboring countries.
