US Stock Movement | Dow Jones Up Over 500 Points in Early Session, Oil Prices Down 5%

Reports indicate that the United States is considering a one-month ceasefire with Iran, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising more than 500 points in early trading.

As of 9:36 p.m. Hong Kong time, the Dow was at 46,665 points, up 541 points or 1.17%; the S&P 500 was at 6,626 points, up 70 points or 1.07%; the Nasdaq was at 22,027 points, up 265 points or 1.22%.

Oil prices declined. Currently, New York crude oil futures are at $87.72 per barrel, down $4.63 or 5.01%; London Brent crude futures are at $95.17, down $5.06 or 5.07%.
