Weather | Observatory Records 30 Degrees Breaking This Year's Record Kwun Tong 30.9 Degrees

The Observatory stated that most parts of Hong Kong experienced temperatures rising to 28°C or above today. As of 5:30 p.m., the temperature at the Observatory headquarters reached a high of 30°C, breaking this year’s record and ranking as the fifth highest March temperature on record.

In Kwun Tong, the maximum temperature reached 30.9°C, breaking the March record since the weather station was established. Tai Lo Shan recorded 27.8°C, tying its own March record.

Looking ahead, Friday and the weekend will be warm, with cooler and more humid mornings and evenings. Early next week, there will be periods of sunshine and heat, with a few showers or thunderstorms.
