The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is conducting research work on the construction of a recycling and utilization system for waste power batteries from new energy vehicles.
The Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized a discussion on March 20 in Beijing with China Resources Recycling Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Bangpu Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., and other relevant enterprises, as well as research institutions such as the China Automotive Technology Research Center and CCID Research Institute, to discuss the construction of a recycling system for used new energy vehicle power batteries. The meeting analyzed the current situation faced in building the recycling system for new energy vehicle power batteries, and carefully discussed issues such as innovative policy supply, improving the recycling mechanism, and perfecting the standards system. The attending representatives unanimously agreed to combine local and enterprise practices, build consensus, and form synergy, conduct in-depth research on major issues in the integrated recycling network construction, strengthen policy reserves, and accelerate the improvement of the recycling system for new energy vehicle power batteries.
