China News Service, March 25 — (Reporter Zhang Huandi) On March 24, Long Yongtu, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade and chief negotiator for China’s WTO accession, stated during the Boao Asia Forum 2026 Annual Conference that many countries around the world are currently implementing policies to attract foreign investment, leading to intense competition. China has two major advantages in attracting foreign investment: First, China has established a complete supply chain and industrial network within the global manufacturing system, allowing foreign companies to enter China and expand globally; second, China has abundant talent resources, enabling foreign companies to fully benefit from the talent dividend. He expressed hope that foreign companies can make full use of these two advantages, not only to earn profits but also to expand their global influence and promote China’s development.
