Russia and Vietnam Sign Agreement to Cooperate on Construction of Vietnam's First Nuclear Power Plant

People’s Financial News, March 24 — The Russian government website announced on the 23rd that Russia and Vietnam signed a government agreement on the joint construction of Vietnam’s first nuclear power plant. According to the Russian state atomic energy company, the project plans to build two VVER-1200 nuclear reactors with a total installed capacity of 2,400 MW at the Ninh Thuận 1 Nuclear Power Plant in Vietnam.
