Denmark held parliamentary elections on Tuesday, and preliminary vote counts show that the ruling Social Democrats remain the largest party in the parliament, but their support has significantly declined compared to the 2022 elections.

As of 11:10 p.m. local time, over 95% of the votes in Denmark have been preliminarily counted. The Social Democrats received 22% of the votes, leading significantly over the Socialist People’s Party and the Liberal Party. Currently, vote counting is still ongoing.

According to local media predictions based on 100% of the votes counted, the Social Democrats, along with other left-wing parties, have a total of 84 seats, failing to secure a majority. The right-wing parties have won 77 seats.
