On the 26th, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on social media saying that the Iranian and American negotiators involved in the third round of indirect talks in Geneva are open to “new, creative ideas and solutions.” The statement said that Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Badri met with U.S. Special Envoy Wittekov and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of President Trump, in Geneva today. The meeting was held within the framework of the Iran-U.S. negotiations. The statement quoted Badr al-Badri as saying that all parties are actively creating favorable conditions to promote progress in the talks. The third round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the U.S. took place in Geneva, Switzerland, on the 26th.
