To effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers, and continuously improve the coverage and effectiveness of financial knowledge dissemination, during the 2026 “3.15” Financial Consumer Rights Protection Education and Promotion Campaign, China Merchants Bank Lanzhou Branch has been deepening the construction of financial knowledge education bases, expanding the outreach network, and extending financial services and consumer protection publicity to grassroots levels and communities. Through solid measures, the bank practices its original intention of serving the people with finance and delivers new results in livelihood services.

China Merchants Bank Lanzhou Branch always regards financial knowledge popularization as an important way to improve the quality and efficiency of financial services. It adheres to a community-based approach, building a broad and close-to-life financial knowledge education base system. Relying on all its branches, the bank collaborates with surrounding communities, schools, and enterprises to establish education bases, integrating branch resources with social resources. This allows financial services to move out of counters and into the community, creating “financial service stations at residents’ doorsteps,” providing residents with regular, convenient financial consulting, rights protection inquiries, and knowledge dissemination—delivering a practical solution to the “last mile” of financial knowledge popularization.

In the construction and operation of these bases, the bank follows a differentiated and scenario-based educational approach, focusing on the needs of key groups such as the elderly, youth, and new residents, offering targeted publicity and services. For the elderly, staff visit homes to explain anti-fraud and scam prevention, as well as retirement financial management, safeguarding their “money bags.” For community residents and students, face-to-face sessions cover topics like personal credit, rational consumption, avoiding illegal lending, and banknote anti-counterfeiting, using simple and understandable language. Additionally, co-built branches regularly organize themed promotional activities to ensure financial knowledge truly reaches people’s minds and hearts, continuously enhancing the financial literacy and risk awareness of the community.

Since the initiation of the financial knowledge education base construction in 2023, China Merchants Bank Lanzhou Branch has been steadily extending services to grassroots levels. To date, a total of 42 financial knowledge education bases have been established in collaboration with communities, enterprises, and schools, including 10 new bases during the 2026 “3.15” period. The network of bases continues to expand, and service coverage is constantly increasing. In daily operations, these bases regularly conduct financial education activities, integrating consumer rights protection into the entire service process, making financial services more accessible and warm, earning widespread recognition and praise from community residents.

China Merchants Bank Lanzhou Branch will continue to use financial knowledge education bases as an important platform, deepen the community “grid-based” linkage mechanism, continuously improve the financial knowledge dissemination system, and promote the further sinking of publicity resources and service forces to grassroots levels. The concept of serving the people with finance, benefiting the people, and making finance more convenient will be integrated into all aspects of business development. The bank will keep enriching educational formats and improving service quality, using professional, pragmatic, and warm financial services to safeguard the property safety of financial consumers, making high-quality and convenient financial services within reach.
