Gelonghui March 17 — SMIC International (06969.HK) released its annual results for the year ending December 31, 2025. During the review period, the group achieved revenue of approximately RMB 14.256 billion, a year-on-year increase of about 20.8%. The ToB business contributed approximately RMB 11.344 billion in revenue, a year-on-year increase of about 21.7%. The group’s profit during the review period was approximately RMB 1.062 billion, a decrease of about 18.5% year-on-year.

The main reasons for the decrease in profit this year are that the growth in revenue and gross profit was not enough to offset the increase in expenses, primarily due to: (i) a significant increase in share-based payment expenses during the review period compared to last year; (ii) a substantial rise in legal and compliance service-related costs compared to last year; and (iii) increased efforts in market development for the group’s own brand products during the review period.
