UAE Announces Temporary Closure of Partial Airspace

People’s Financial News, March 17 — The relevant authorities in the United Arab Emirates announced early on the 17th that, due to air defense systems responding to missile and drone threats from Iran, the country has temporarily closed parts of its airspace. The UAE Civil Aviation Authority stated that, as a special precautionary measure, some airspace has been temporarily closed. Both the UAE Ministry of Defense and Dubai Media Office issued statements saying that the sounds heard in many parts of the country are caused by air defense systems intercepting missiles and drones.
