The Hang Seng Index rose 104 points at the open, reaching 25,938, challenging the 26,000 level. Turnover was HKD 3.88 billion. The tech sector increased by 0.5%, at 5,137 points. Yau Tai Securities Finance (01428) resumed trading with a gain of over 64%. Alibaba (09988) increased by 0.9%. CATL (03750) hit a new high, rising over 1%. Baidu (09888) reversed the trend, falling more than 2% against the market.
