Abstract generation in progress

Dollar General’s stock fell after the company’s sales outlook for the fiscal year came in line with analyst projections, rather than exceeding them, as had often been the case. The retailer expects comparable sales to increase by 2.2% to 2.7%, while analysts had predicted 2.45%. Despite the sales forecast, the earnings per share range provided by the company was slightly above projections.
