[Hong Kong Stock Market] Hang Seng Index rises 500 points at the close; AI lobster concept continues to heat up; Tencent up 7%, MINIMAX surges another 20% to reach 1286 HKD; CATL up 8% (updating continuously)
【Hang Seng Index / Hang Seng Index / HS/HSI / Hong Kong Stocks / Night Futures / ADR】 Hong Kong stocks rebound nearly 400 points in half a day. U.S. President Trump told foreign media that the war is almost over, and it is expected to end soon. Oil prices fell, leading to a strong rebound in the Hang Seng Index, which opened up 331 points at 25,740. It then fluctuated higher, reaching a maximum increase of 464 points, with a high of 25,872. The Hang Seng Index rose 396 points in the first half of the day, closing at 25,804, with a turnover of HKD 172.01 billion. The Tech Index rose 1.4% to 7,120 points. Tencent (00700) surged over 5%, CATL (03750) rose over 7% after earnings, Zhipu (02513) increased nearly 7%, MINIMAX (00100) jumped over 9%, reaching a new high of HKD 1,148 since listing. Financial stocks rebounded, HSBC (00005) and AIA (01299) both up 3%. Oil prices retreated, PetroChina (00857) fell over 2%, CNOOC (00883) declined 1%.
