Reporters recently learned from the Kunming High-tech Zone Management Committee that in 2025, the total import and export value of Kunming High-tech Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) will surpass 100 million yuan for the first time, reaching 545 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 795.6%. According to the import and export data of specific customs regions released by the General Administration of Customs for the entire year of 2025, the center’s national ranking jumped from 74th in 2024 to 51st, ranking first among bonded centers in Yunnan in terms of import and export volume.

In recent years, Kunming High-tech Zone has supported the rapid growth of the center’s import and export volume through a series of measures such as strengthening overall coordination, increasing efforts to attract investment and enterprises, and upgrading service levels. The high-tech zone established a special task force that broke down annual goals into phases and responsible departments, clarifying task lists and deadlines; at the same time, a normalized reporting and dynamic scheduling mechanism was established to actively seek policy support and resource allocation. To meet the customs clearance needs of foreign trade enterprises, the zone provides full-process tracking services for import and export declarations, regularly summarizes the center’s import and export performance, and promptly analyzes operational trends and resolves bottlenecks, ensuring high-quality development of the center.

In terms of attracting enterprises, the main leaders of the management committee led teams to conduct special investigations at 10 key import and export enterprises including Guiyan, Yunnan Tin, and Kunming Pharmaceutical, promoting the concentration of foreign trade business at the center and effectively expanding business volume. Additionally, focusing on enterprise cost concerns, the center has introduced preferential measures for newly settled foreign trade companies, offering services such as free warehousing and free declaration in the first month to help reduce operational costs and accelerate business implementation. Currently, the number of enterprises settled in the center has increased to 19, with initial signs of industry clustering.

In terms of improving services and expanding business formats, the center fully leverages the functions of the municipal foreign trade comprehensive service platform, integrating resources from key foreign trade enterprises in the park, and promoting deep integration of center operations with the foreign trade service system, significantly enhancing systematic service capabilities. To facilitate customs clearance, the center has broken through technical barriers by launching automatic verification and release functions, achieving 24/7 customs clearance services and greatly improving efficiency. Additionally, in cooperation with Kunming Municipal Bureau of Commerce, targeted investment promotion and enterprise cultivation have been carried out, attracting three foreign trade comprehensive service companies and one well-known e-commerce company to settle in the center, continuously gathering emerging formats and optimizing the business structure.
