The General Office of the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued a notice regarding further acceleration of power grid project construction. The notice includes seven measures: simplifying land procedures, standardizing temporary land use management, clarifying procedures for mineral resource overburden, optimizing forestry and grassland procedures, streamlining cultural relics procedures, strengthening power corridor guarantees, and improving cooperation on arable land occupation taxes. Specific measures involve priority land use for major national and autonomous region-level power grid projects, simplifying planning permits for substation projects, determining compensation prices for temporary land use, investigating and assessing overburden mineral resources, optimizing procedures for forestry and grassland land, simplifying administrative permits for cultural relics protection, and handling procedures for power corridor reservation and crossing drilling.
