As the peak of the Spring Festival return travel occurs on the sixth day of the lunar New Year, coinciding with the one-month anniversary of the international services at Terminal 3 of Baiyun Airport, the passenger flow at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport port of entry and exit remains high. According to the Baiyun Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station, as of 0:00 on February 22, during the 2026 Spring Festival holiday (from the 28th to the 6th), the total number of inbound and outbound passengers at Baiyun Airport port exceeded 370,000, an increase of 23.3% compared to the same period in 2025, setting a new historical high for the same period.
