Recently, a netizen posted a video on social media claiming that a branch of Guilin Bank was opened inside a resident’s home in Shanglin, Nanning. On the 21st, the video poster responded to Xiaoxiang Morning News reporters, stating that not only Guilin Bank, but also postal services and rural credit cooperatives are involved.

On the evening of the 21st, reporters contacted Guilin Bank. A bank staff member explained that the bank has not established service points within villages, and the minimum unit for setting up bank branches is at the township level. They did not find any service points built inside farmers’ homes.

Subsequently, the reporter inquired whether these were bank inclusive financial service points. The staff member said they had not received any related reports, and details can be checked on the official website.

According to reports, Guilin Bank first established community banks in 2014, and in 2015, it opened its first micro and small enterprise branch. As of the end of September 2025, the bank has set up 481 township branches in Guangxi.
