Multiple organizations sue the Trump administration over revoking climate harm designation

Seventeen American environmental organizations and public health groups filed a lawsuit on the 18th in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit against the Environmental Protection Agency and its administrator, Michael Regan, opposing the Trump administration’s reversal of the agency’s 2009 greenhouse gas harm designation. The plaintiffs request the court to review the EPA and Michael Regan’s decision to revoke the greenhouse gas harm designation and related automobile emission restrictions. These 17 organizations and groups include the American Public Health Association, the American Lung Association, the Center for Biological Diversity, the Clean Air Task Force, and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
