VanEck Quantum ETF in Europe adds BTQ Technologies to the portfolio, strengthening the holdings

According to Odaily reports, BTQ Technologies Corp., a company specializing in quantum-resistant cryptography technology, has been newly selected for the VanEck-managed European-listed quantum computer UCITS ETF. This move indicates a growing institutional investor interest in quantum computing-related companies.

Composition of VanEck Quantum ETF for the European Market

This quantum ETF offered by VanEck tracks the MarketVector Global Quantum Leaders Total Return Net Asset Index (MVQTMLTR) and is listed as a UCITS ETF in Europe. The current portfolio consists of 30 companies, with a total net asset value of approximately $524.5 million. Driven by significant capital inflows into the quantum technology sector, the ETF’s size continues to expand.

Bitcoin Quantum Testnet Accelerates Implementation of Quantum Security

BTQ Technologies’ technical strengths are also reflected in the recently launched Bitcoin Quantum Testnet project. This testnet provides a platform for miners, developers, researchers, and users to simulate resistance to quantum threats and conduct load testing at the implementation level. Such a practical testing environment plays a crucial role in helping the blockchain ecosystem prepare for the era of future quantum computers, and it is one of the reasons VanEck’s ETF has evaluated BTQ Technologies.
